Here, when thy feet all climes have trod,
See nature's glory show the power of God;
And if thy soul ascending with the spray,
In rainbow light seeks God's eternal day,
Turn homeward ― prayer-ward all thy thoughts and looks,
Nor lose the charm by drivelling through these books.
