Niagara Falls

Untitled

Niagara's tide is pouring,
    Swift down the mighty steep;
Loud as the thunder roaring,
    The bounding waters leap.

A sheet of foam descending,
    In boiling surf below
The white spray high ascending,
    Pure as the driven snow.

Rare beauty there is glowing,
    When glittering sunbeams play,
The rainbow tints bestowing,
    Upon the rising spray.
