This is the cataract whose deathless name
Lives in itself --- it hath no need of fame.
It is itself eternal. Look and trace
"Dar'st thou forget me," written in his face.
'T is its own record --- 't is the living throne
Of independence, rolling, rolling on ---
Spurning alike resistance and control,
And breathing terror on the human soul.
