Keith Ellis

Keith Ellis was a professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, University of Toronto. He has published several books on Spanish American poetry, including his prize-winning Cuba's Nicolás Guillén: Poetry and Idealogy. His translations have appeared in his Mirror of War: Literature and Revolution in El Salvador and Nicolás Guillén: New Love Poetry. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and an honourary member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba.
